We are back at it again this week, bringing you our A.I. predictions for UFC 293. Last week for UFC Paris, our A.I. managed to go (5-1) with its predictions for the card, bringing its overall win total up to a very nice (23-5). Let's look at what it has predicted this week and see if the A.I. can keep its momentum.

Tyson Pedro vs. Anton Turkalj: Pedro (-250), Turkalj (+200): Pedro is the more experienced fighter and has a better striking game. I think he will be able to keep Turkalj at a distance and pick him apart with his punches. Pedro by decision.

Justin Tafa vs. Austen Lane: (-150), Lane (+120): This is a close fight, but I think Tafa has the edge in power and athleticism. He should be able to put Lane away early with a knockout. Tafa by K.O. in round 1.

Manel Kape vs. Felipe dos Santos: Kape (-160), dos Santos (+130): Kape is the more technical striker, but dos Santos is the more durable fighter. I think this fight will be a back-and-forth affair, but I think Kape will be able to find a way to get the finish. Kape by KO in round 3.

Tai Tuivasa vs. Alexander Volkov: Volkov (-600), Tuivasa (+400): This is a David vs. Goliath matchup, with Tuivasa the smaller but more powerful fighter. Volkov is the better striker, but he has been known to gas out in later rounds. I think Tuivasa will be able to use his power to knock Volkov out early. Tuivasa by KO in round 1.

Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland: Adesanya (-400), Strickland (+300): This is the main event and the fight to watch. Adesanya is the defending champion and one of the best strikers in the world. Strickland is a rising contender who is known for his aggressive fighting style. This fight could go either way, but I think Adesanya will be able to use his superior striking to win a decision. Adesanya by decision.

UFC 293 will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The main card will start at 10:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM PT, and the prelims will start at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on ESPN+.
