A.I. Unleashed: A.I. Predictions for UFC 300

an arena of people crowded around a UFC Octagon, with a giant scoreboard hanging from the roof that says UFC 300 Gaethje vs. Holloway

We are back this week with our A.I. predictions, but first, we take a look back at UFC Vegas 90. Which saw us go (2-3) on the night, missing on Peek, Charriere, and Curtis. Bringing our W/L total to (67-32-2). Now, UFC 300 is shaping up to be an absolute banger of a card with some incredible title fights and high-stakes matchups. Let's dive into the main card analysis and our A.I. predictions for UFC 300

Main Event: Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill (Light Heavyweight Title)

Analysis: This is a clash of styles. Pereira, the precision striker with knockout power, against Hill, the dynamic and unpredictable finisher. Pereira's path to victory is clear: utilize his striking advantage to land those devastating power shots. Hill needs to keep this fight chaotic, use his reach, and look for unconventional or surprise finishes.

Prediction: This is an incredibly close one. Hill has a ton of momentum, but I have a slight lean towards Pereira. I think he'll weather the early storm and find that KO shot in the later rounds.

Co-Main Event: Weili Zhang vs Yan Xiaonan (Women's Strawweight Title)

Analysis: A fascinating all-Chinese showdown for the title. Zhang is the more powerful and well-rounded fighter. Yan has the cardio advantage and can make things gritty. Zhang must impose her power strikes and grappling early. Yan needs to survive the initial onslaught and drag this into a war of attrition.

Prediction: While a Yan upset is possible, I favor Zhang here. Her experience, power, and wrestling game should prove too much, likely leading to a late-round finish.

Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway (Lightweight BMF Title)

Analysis: This is a certified crowd-pleaser. Two of the most exciting fighters in the game going toe-to-toe. Gaethje needs to enforce his leg kicks and power punches, while Holloway wants to keep it at his preferred boxing range.

Prediction: This fight could be an instant classic. I think Holloway's precision boxing and volume will eventually overwhelm Gaethje's power, resulting in a late-round finish or decision for Holloway.

Charles Oliveira vs. Armen Tsarukyan (Lightweight)

Analysis: This one is a true test for the surging Tsarukyan. Oliveira's dynamic submission game and unorthodox striking pose a massive threat. Tsarukyan needs his wrestling to be on point to dictate where the fight happens.

Prediction: Tsarukyan is a real problem, but Oliveira's experience and submission danger can't be overlooked. My gut tells me Oliveira snags a submission somewhere in the middle rounds.

Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage (Middleweight)

Analysis: A potential star-making performance for wrestling phenom Nickal. Brundage has power, but Nickal's grappling pedigree should take this to the ground quickly.

Prediction: Unless Brundage lands something monstrous early, this looks like a showcase for Nickal. Expect a dominant first-round finish via ground and pound or submission.

UFC 300 takes place on Saturday, April 13th from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Early Prelims start at 6 pm EST and the main card kicks off at 10 pm EST on ESPN+ PPV.
