GLORY 90 Is Official !!

The final GLORY event of the year - GLORY 90 - takes place tomorrow night, Saturday, December 23, live from the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. All the fighters successfully made weight this morning at the weigh-ins in Amsterdam.  


The welterweight championship fight was made official as champion Endy Semeleer (35-1) and challenger Anwar Ouled-Chaib (3-0) both came within the limit. Semeleer is chasing his third straight title defense while Ouled-Chaib is hoping to cause the biggest upset in GLORY history.


In the co-main event, big Nabil Khachab (26-4-1, 4 KO) weighed-in a whopping 40 kg heavier than his opponent Nikola Filipovic (11-2, 6 KO). The two heavyweights collide with a spot in the upcoming GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix on the line.

The ‘House of GLORY’ winner beat a field of other fighters on the hit reality show to earn his spot as the next contender. 


In the co-main event, big Nabil Khachab (26-4-1, 4 KO) weighed-in a whopping 40 kg heavier than his opponent Nikola Filipovic (11-2, 6 KO). The two heavyweights collide with a spot in the upcoming GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix on the line. 


Former welterweight champion Murthel Groenhart (70-26-3, 40 KO) returns for his 100th professional fight as he takes on Bulgaria’s Teodor Hristov (15-3, 7 KO), who is fresh off an emphatic debut victory this past October. 


Number one ranked Enriko Kehl (52-15-2, 30 KO) will be aiming undeniably book his spot as the next title challenger against champion Tyjani Beztati. The German meets the dangerous Arman Hambaryan (58-8-2, 27 KO) of Armenia. 


Rounding out the main card, Berjan Peposhi (28-4, 16 KO) welcomes exciting new signing Miguel Trindade (57-6, 24 KO) of Portugal into GLORY and Cameroon’s Brice Kombou (18-3, 3 KO) clashes with Morocco’s Mohamed Touchassie (15-1, 12 KO) in an electric fight to kick-off the main card. 


The free GLORY 90 prelims will include a heavyweight collision between Turkey’s Cihad Kepenek (21-6, 15 KO) and Polish slugger Michał Blawdziewicz (11-6-1, 5 KO) and a pair of female debutants will meet in the opening fight of the night as budding Dutch star Nina van Dalum (13-6, 1 KO) meets Portuguese newly signed GLORY-talent Debora Evora (27-9-1, 2 KO). 


Unfortunately, Iliass Hammouche fell ill during fight week and his fight against Ivan Galaz was removed from the card. Therefore, GLORY 90 moves forward with eight exciting bouts.
