BMF Titleholder Justin Gaethje Names The One Fight He 'Did Not Enjoy'

From the WSOF to the UFC, Justin Gaethje's been in a ton of fun fights.

'The Highlight' will look to keep it going at UFC 300, when he defends the BMF title against former champ Max Holloway. Gaethje has had much respect for his next opponent, but he says he'll have no problem turning up the heat vs. Holloway.

"No, I haven't," Gaethje told ESPN, when asked if he had any issue fighting Holloway. "The good thing is I've really learned that I don't even have to have any ill will against any of these guys to try to do what I need to do in the cage."

Gaethje reveals there is one exception to that. The former WSOF Champion would revisit his 2014 fight against one-armed fighter, 'The Notorious' Nick Newell.

"Nick Newell, that one I did not enjoy," Gaethje said. "But, yeah, it doesn't matter. Like, once we're in there, it's just a game, and they chose to play the game. This is this is the game that I chose to play in my life."

Justin Gaethje gave Newell (who was 11-0 at the time) his first career loss at WSOF 11. Gaethje TKO'ed Newell in the second round to successfully defend his title.
